KUNDALINI YOGA..

Sat Nam,

My name is Dalprem Kaur and I was born on March 22, 2015.  On that day, I recieved my 200-hour certification in Kundalini Yoga.  Looking back, I'm grateful for my spiritual teachers, Pritpal Singh and Kaur, for gifting me with spiritual tools to all people towards reaching their highest self through the practice of Kundalini Yoga.

History: In 2012, I met my Kundalini awakening.  I was four months pregnant with my fourth child and unsure of several areas of my life.  Like many women, I was moving through life at a rapid pace, and feeling unfulfilled. At that time, my intentions were to attend the yoga class to stay active while being pregnant. However, during that class I went through many challenges of feeling uncomfortable then comfortable. It was very confusing but I knew  I was in a space of resistance.  After that class, I made a commitment to myself and my unborn child I would keep practicing in order to understand.  I kept attending classes grounding, clearing and allowing myself to go deeper into my healing. It was the most beautiful time being pregnant and practicing yoga. My son and I immersed with one another into the Creator's love for 28 weeks. It was a blissful, bountiful and a beautiful time together.

In 2014, being unsure about the journey ahead, I immersed myself in an intensive seven month Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training. It was a time of transformation and healing. I learned great things about myself. The most important lesson was self-trust! I realized I needed to trust GOD, and myself more to embrace what I needed in this life.

Over the years, I've been blessed to teach amazing classes in many different environments. Also, for several years I've been gifted to lead international yoga retreats to Cabrera, RD.  I love everything about teaching yoga and I enjoy helping students expand and grow in this area.  As a teacher, it's important for the space to be comfortable, engaging and connected.  Allowing students to feel comfortable while practicing Kundalini Yoga.  I thrive on teaching and helping students start their own yoga practice.  Students have reported being in a place of peace, transformation, and personal growth. I admire their courage, determination towards practicing Kundalini Yoga.

If you are looking to incorporate a daily practice, contact me for details and lets get your practice started.  You don't need to be "flexible, nor perfect" you just need to be open to learning and growing.
